STEP 1

How to make beef meatballs with rice in a frying pan in tomato sauce? Prepare the ingredients. To prepare beef meatballs we will need: ground beef (without impurities), rice, carrots, parsley, vegetable oil, paprika, ground black pepper and salt.
STEP 2

Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a coarse grater.
STEP 3

Fry carrots for 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil until soft, about 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
STEP 4

Rinse the rice thoroughly. Place the cereal in a saucepan, pour in 200 ml of water. Bring to a boil and cook the rice until half cooked for about 10 minutes, remembering to stir occasionally. Then drain the rice in a colander and cool.
STEP 5

How to make tomato sauce. To prepare the sauce we will need: tomato paste, water and sugar.
STEP 6

Combine tomato paste with sugar and water. Mix thoroughly until smooth. Sugar is needed to soften the acidity of tomato paste.
STEP 7

Wash the parsley, dry and finely chop.
STEP 8

In a deep bowl, combine minced beef, rice, fried carrots, and parsley. Salt, pepper, add paprika.
STEP 9

Mix everything thoroughly.
STEP 10

Using your hands moistened with water, form meatballs of the same size from the resulting minced meat. They should be the size of a walnut or slightly larger.
STEP 11

Heat the remaining vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs on all sides until golden brown.
STEP 12

Pour tomato sauce into the pan. Simmer the meatballs over low heat, covered, for about 10 minutes. Then turn over to the other side and simmer for another 10 minutes.
STEP 13

Serve the finished meatballs with any side dish, except rice, since it is already in the meatballs themselves. I served with boiled green beans. It turned out very tasty. Bon appetit!
