Washed cabbage, finely chop.

Peel the carrots and cut into small cubes. You can also, if desired, cut the carrots into half rings or strips.

Peel the onion and cut into half rings.

Tomatoes can be peeled and cut into small pieces. You can also use unpeeled tomatoes - this will not affect the taste.
STEP 6
After mixing all the vegetables, put them in a suitable sized stew container and cook for about an hour and a half.
STEP 7
Towards the end of cooking, add pepper, sugar and salt.
STEP 8
Fill the prepared jars with prepared vegetables, add vinegar and roll up the lids.
STEP 9
Cool the cabbage and tomatoes upside down, covering them with a warm blanket. After cooling, it is advisable to store them in a cool place.
STEP 10
This excellent preparation will allow you to enjoy a delicious salad all winter long!
