STEP 1

How to make zucchini with cheese in a frying pan with garlic? First, prepare the necessary ingredients. It is better to use young zucchini, with thin skin and without seeds. Wash the zucchini and cut into circles no more than 0.5 centimeters thick.
STEP 2

Grate the hard cheese on a medium grater.
STEP 3

Peel the garlic cloves, pass through a press or grate. If desired, the amount of garlic can be increased.
STEP 4

Mix hard cheese, garlic and mayonnaise. The zucchini spread is ready.
STEP 5

If you want the dish to be healthier, replace mayonnaise with sour cream. In this case, add salt and ground black pepper to taste.
STEP 6

Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan; a tablespoon is enough for each batch, because zucchini absorbs oil strongly. Some housewives fry zucchini, first rolling them in wheat flour, but in this case it is better not to do this. Firstly, the dish will turn out to be more nutritious, and secondly, the flour in the pan will start to burn and can spoil the taste of the dish with an unpleasant bitterness.
STEP 7

Heat the oil and place the cooked zucchini slices on it. Fry them over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Then cover the pan with a lid and keep the zucchini on the fire for a few more minutes so that they become soft and juicy inside. Add oil if necessary. If there is not enough oil in the pan, the zucchini will turn out dry and tough, and may also burn.
STEP 8

Transfer zucchini to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil, then transfer to a serving platter. Place cheese spread on each piece of zucchini. The dish is ready to serve. It is delicious both cold and warm. Zucchini with cheese can be served as a separate dish for lunch, dinner or as a quick snack. Bon appetit!
