Wings in orange soy sauce in the oven

Original sweetish taste and appetizing appearance. The taste has a pronounced orange note, which is unusual for us in meat. Some people will try it out of curiosity, some will like it, some will like it, which is not their thing. The sauce will delicately highlight the taste of the meat, help it reveal a new side and give the dish a unique aroma and tenderness. To draw a conclusion, you need to try it at least once, let’s get started..

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Buy wings only chilled; frozen ones are best used for other recipes. Be sure to wash with lukewarm water and dry well.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Prepare ORANGE SOY SAUCE. Wash the oranges, remove the zest and squeeze out the juice. Add 1 tbsp to the juice of 2 oranges. brown sugar, 1.5 tsp salt, 0.5 tsp. black pepper, whole zest, 4 tbsp. soy sauce and squeeze 6 cloves of garlic through a press. Mix everything well until the salt and sugar dissolve.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

In a deep bowl, pour the sauce over the wings, stir and leave while the oven heats up to 200 degrees.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Then place the wings in the mold in one row and pour over the sauce, leaving 1/3 of the sauce, it will be needed later. There is no need to grease the mold. Place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. for 20 minutes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

After 20 minutes, turn the wings over, pour the remaining sauce over them and cook for another 10 minutes. That's it, the wings are ready. But if you like drier wings, with a beautiful blush...

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Transfer the wings to a barbecue pan or onto a greased grill and let them fry.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

It takes about 5-7 minutes until you get an appetizing blush on one side and the other. I cooked on medium level, top-bottom mode. The time may be individual for different ovens, but no more than 45-50 minutes of total time, otherwise the wings will dry out and the outer part will burn.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Serve the wings hot as a separate dish with sauce or with a side dish and vegetables..

The first snow has fallen in Astrakhan, the frost is getting stronger, and the house is warm, cozy and smells of oranges and baked chicken. I baked the wings in orange-soy sauce) As the author writes, you should try it at least once. I decided on this recipe out of interest and a desire to experiment. For the sauce, I mixed everything in a bowl and waited for the sugar to dissolve. I removed the zest from the orange with a coarse grater, at first I thought that I should have crushed it harder, but then I realized that this was even better. I left the wings to marinate overnight; I had time for that. I marinated it in a bag, folded the wings, poured in the sauce, let the air out of the bag and tied it off. I did this because the marinade is liquid and drips off the meat. There was not enough meat in the wings and it turned out that they were completely soaked in the sauce. There are so many aromas here, soy sauce, garlic, orange, a whole bouquet! The orange zest was also baked, it stopped being hot, but on the contrary became pleasant to the taste. I ate meat along with these orange stripes) And even a golden brown crust formed. Incredibly aromatic and tasty! I advise everyone to try it!
