Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Preparing the ingredients. If you use candied honey, you need to melt it in a water bath or in the microwave. For this recipe, the butter also needs to be softened, so take it out of the refrigerator in advance, or melt it a little. The milk should be warm, about 30 degrees.
STEP 2
This recipe is interesting because, unlike the classic one with dough, we start preparing the dough with dry ingredients. Sift the flour into a deep bowl, add salt and instant yeast. Mix the ingredients well.

Pour honey, milk and softened butter into the dry mixture.
STEP 4
Mix well and knead the dough, it should turn out elastic, slightly sticking to your hands. Leave it in the same bowl in a warm place, covered with a towel on top, for at least an hour, ideally two.
STEP 5
When the dough has risen, knead it and begin to form the loaves. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a sausage.

and cut into 8 equal parts.

From each piece we form a miniature bar, roll it well in flour

and place them on a baking sheet, leaving space between them. There is no need to grease the baking tray with oil.
STEP 9
Place the bread preparation in a warm place for half an hour. During this time, the bread will increase in size. We make a shallow cut on each with a knife. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the bread for 30 minutes, but you need to pay attention to the operation of the oven. The bread should be well browned.
STEP 10
Remove the bread from the oven, cool or serve hot. They are delicious either as a sweet pastry with milk or as a base for savory appetizers such as garlic and soup. Bon appetit!
