  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make vegan pancakes? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Oat milk should be at room temperature, so remove it from the refrigerator in advance. You can use oat milk in different flavors - vanilla, chocolate, whatever you like best. I took vanilla and enhanced its taste and aroma with a small amount of vanillin. Be sure to shake the milk well before measuring. Use premium flour.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Sift all the flour into a deep bowl. It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Then the baked goods will turn out airy and rise well during baking.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add sugar, vanillin and soda and mix everything with a whisk. You can replace vanillin with 1 tsp. vanilla sugar.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour in oat milk at room temperature and knead into a semi-viscous dough. Pour vegetable oil and apple cider vinegar into the dough and mix again. Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Mix the dough again. If it turns out too viscous, pour in a little more oat milk, but do not overdo it - the pancakes will tear if the dough is too liquid.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Heat a little vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed non-stick frying pan. Pour in a little batter and fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown. You won’t be able to make very thin pancakes with oat milk - the consistency and density of the batter is different than with regular milk. If the first two pancakes tear, it means you either need to add a little more batter or change the pan. Some of my pancakes stuck in the center, so I had to tinker.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place the finished pancakes with vegan milk on a plate and serve. Bon appetit!

I bought oat milk for the first time. The kids liked it, especially my son. He asked to cook something from it. I searched the website for suitable recipes and found a recipe for vegan pancakes with oat milk. The dough turned out to be moderately thick. I fried pancakes in a cast iron frying pan. The first few pancakes stuck a little to the pan, but not critically. Everyone else was roasting with a bang. Before each new pancake, I greased the pan with vegetable oil. Not a single pancake broke. The first thing I noticed was a very pleasant aroma, like a nut, and an equally pleasant taste. The pancakes are soft and tender. They fold perfectly in half and in four. Pancakes are good both with sour cream and jam, but most of all I liked them without everything. The whole family was happy. Very tasty! Maria, thank you very much for the recipe!

When frying, the pancakes stuck to the center of the pan, so as soon as the pancake was browned, I cut it into 2 halves. There was no other way to fry it.
