  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make universal beer dough? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take the highest grade flour, it is better to take refined sunflower oil. Choose light beer for the test. Filtered or not is up to you to decide. This will not affect the taste of the dough at all. The only thing is that I still recommend choosing light beer for baking.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Sift the flour through a sieve into a deep bowl. Add salt and sugar unless you intend to make unleavened dough.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour refined sunflower oil (unflavored) into a bowl. Dough made with vegetable oil always has a velvety structure, so I really love working with it. By the way, feel free to replace sunflower oil with your favorite: olive, sesame, pumpkin, hemp. With olive oil and hemp oil, the dough will have a slightly greenish tint, and this is absolutely normal.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add the final ingredient: light beer. It can be either warm or from the refrigerator. There is no difference for this test. Stir the dough first with a tablespoon until it is convenient, and then knead with your hands. Perhaps you will need a little less or more flour for a quick beer dough, it depends on its properties.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

This dough is perfectly kneaded by hand until smooth, homogeneous within a few minutes. But you can also call on electric kitchen assistants for help: they will cope with the batch in just two minutes. Gather the dough into a ball, cover the bowl with a towel and let it rest at room temperature for 15 minutes. After which the beer dough without yeast will be ready for further work according to your plan. Create with pleasure!

I have already used beer once in baking. It was a sweet cookie with beer added to the dough. Then it turned out very tasty. This time I was interested in the recipe for a universal beer dough. The dough turns out very soft and pleasant to the touch. It is very convenient to work with him. It is elastic and does not tear. I rolled the dough into a sausage and cut it into pucks. I crushed the resulting pucks a little with my fingers to make flat cakes. Sprinkled them with sesame seeds. I baked beer cakes for about 15 minutes at 180 degrees. The flatbreads turned out to have a malty taste. They are not salty, but not bland either. I think beer dough flatbreads would be great as a snack. I think it will work great if you sprinkle them with grated cheese and paprika. Thanks for the unusual dough recipe!
