How to make turkey steaks with bone in the oven? Prepare your ingredients.
STEP 2
First you need to marinate the steaks. To prepare the marinade, combine soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, honey, herbes de Provence, basil and salt. Mix everything well. If the honey is thick, heat it slightly in a water bath. When adding salt, keep in mind that soy sauce also adds saltiness.
STEP 3
Wash the steaks, dry them, and place them in the marinade. It is better to leave the steaks to marinate overnight, but if time does not allow, then at least for 2-3 hours. During marinating, you can turn the steaks a couple of times so that they are well saturated with marinade on all sides.
STEP 4
Remove the marinated steaks from the marinade and allow the liquid to drain. Quickly fry the meat in vegetable oil on both sides until a light brown crust forms. This is necessary so that the meat juice does not release during baking, but remains inside the pieces.
STEP 5
Place the steaks in a prepared container and cover with marinade.
STEP 6
Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees until done (about 1 hour 10 minutes). Cooking time depends on the thickness and size of the pieces. It is important not to overcook the steaks in the oven so that the meat does not separate from the bone and the steaks do not lose their appearance.
