Turkey fillet in soy sauce in the oven with oranges
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make turkey fillet in soy sauce in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. I used breast fillet; turkey thigh fillet would also work great. Olive oil can be replaced with any odorless vegetable oil.
STEP 2
Wash the turkey fillet and dry well. Cut the fillet into portions of the desired size.
STEP 3
Lightly beat each piece of fillet with a hammer on both sides to soften the meat fibers.
STEP 4
Prepare the marinade. Wash the orange and dry it. Squeeze the juice out of half the fruit. You will need 50 ml of orange juice.
STEP 5
In a suitable sized bowl, combine soy sauce, orange juice, ginger and paprika. Mix well. If there is not enough salt for your taste, add a pinch, no more. Keep in mind that soy sauce already contains salt. I didn't add salt.
STEP 6
To marinate the fillets, select a container of suitable size. Place the turkey pieces in it and cover with the prepared marinade. It is advisable that the marinade almost completely covers the meat, so it will marinate more evenly. Leave the fillet for 30-40 minutes. If the pieces are not completely coated, turn them over a couple of times while marinating.
STEP 7
Place the meat from the marinade on a plate to drain the liquid. Heat olive oil in a frying pan. How to check if the oil is hot enough? Dip a wooden spatula into it. If bubbles have gathered around it, then you can begin the frying process. Fry the fillet over moderately high heat until golden brown. This will ensure that the meat juice remains inside the piece, and the finished meat will be juicy.
STEP 8
Turn the fillet over to the other side and fry until golden brown.
STEP 9
Place the fillet pieces into a baking dish. Spoon a spoonful of marinade onto each piece.
STEP 10
Cut the remaining orange into slices or semi-circles.
STEP 11
Place orange slices over fillets.
STEP 12
Bake the turkey pieces in an oven preheated to 180C for 30 minutes. Cooking times may differ from those indicated. Focus on the operating features of your oven. At the beginning of baking, you can cover the pan with foil. Halfway through cooking, remove the foil and pour the remaining marinade over the pieces as they evaporate.
STEP 13
Serve turkey fillet with any side dish or fresh vegetables. Bon appetit!
