  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make tomatoes and plums for the winter? Prepare your food. Take dense, high-quality, ripe and whole tomatoes that have not been spoiled; use garlic to taste. Also add spices to taste, for example, bay leaf, allspice, cloves, mustard seeds. All products are indicated per 3-liter jar.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Rinse a three-liter jar thoroughly with soda, pour boiling water over it and put the spices of your choice and peeled garlic cloves on the bottom. You can additionally sterilize the jar before adding food. For information on how to do this, follow the link at the end of the recipe.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Wash the tomatoes and plums well, remove the stems. There is no need to remove the bones. Fill the jar to the top with tomatoes and plums.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Fill the jar with boiling water and cover with a sterile lid. Do not add all the water at once to prevent the jar from bursting due to temperature changes. Fill it with boiling water in parts so that the glass has time to warm up evenly. Leave for 10 minutes, then drain the water from the jar using a special lid with holes into the pan. Add salt and granulated sugar to the water, pour vinegar into the jar itself.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Bring the brine to a boil over medium heat and re-pour the plums and tomatoes. Immediately seal the jar tightly using a sealer. Turn the jar over, wrap it in a warm blanket or scarf, and leave it in this state overnight so that the sterilization process continues longer. Store the cooled jar in a cool place.
