Tomatoes with minced breasts and mayonnaise in a slow cooker

Do you like stuffed vegetables? Don't miss this wonderful recipe! Quick preparation, inexpensive ingredients A dish for those who love stewed vegetables - this is from a series of cabbage rolls or stuffed peppers. The only thing I will change next time is add rice to the filling. I think it will be better this way. I really love vegetables, both raw, baked and stewed. Therefore, with the advent of a multicooker in the house, I cook them very often. The cartoon cooks very quickly, as it works in pressure cooker mode. Therefore, sometimes it turns out that the preparatory stage takes more time than the actual preparation of the dish itself. This is what happened this time too.

    Ingredients

    STEP 2

So, we will cook tomatoes in a slow cooker, stuffed with minced chicken. Let's tackle the tomatoes first. We cut off the caps from them, cut out the stalk

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Now we will free the tomatoes from the pulp, leaving only the frame in which the filling will be. Prepare the sauce. We chop everything we got from tomatoes

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Finely chop half the onion and garlic, you can add a little chili pepper. Fry it all in olive oil

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add the tomato pulp and fry. Add salt, sugar, basil, balsamic vinegar and leave to simmer until soft. You can add a spoon of tomato paste. Please note that stuffed tomatoes will give juice, which means the sauce in which they will be stewed should be very rich in salt and sugar, maybe even a little too salty

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

While the sauce is simmering, let's make the minced meat. Cut half a chicken breast and place it in a blender

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Now salt and pepper the minced meat and add spices.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Unfortunately, I didn’t have any greens; I added dried basil and parsley. But fresh herbs are, of course, preferable. Add the chopped second half of the onion here.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place minced meat in tomato cups

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Spread mayonnaise on top (can be replaced with sour cream), cover with tomato caps

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Let's return to the sauce. Pour it into a blender and puree. We pass the resulting puree through a sieve, thus freeing it from seeds and solid particles. Pour the puree into the multicooker bowl. I advise you not to dilute the puree with water, again because the tomatoes will give juice and dilute the sauce

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Place the stuffed tomatoes in a bowl with the sauce and add a bay leaf. Close the multicooker with a lid. I set the “stewing” mode for only 10 minutes, so I have a pressure cooker and the pressure will be high. In a regular slow cooker, I think the time needs to be increased at least 2 times

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

That's all. Tomatoes in a slow cooker stuffed with minced chicken are ready

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

In my opinion, the dish was a success. The main thing is not to overcook so that the tomatoes remain intact; after all, they are very tender. Bon appetit!
