  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make tomatoes stuffed with cheese, garlic and egg? Prepare your food. Try to choose tomatoes of the same size, it is better if they are medium in size. Processed cheese must be of good quality, made from natural cheese. Before starting cooking, I advise you to put it in the freezer for 15 minutes to make it easier to grate the cheese. You can use any mayonnaise to suit your taste, or you can also prepare it yourself.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Boil the egg first. How to hard boil eggs? To prevent eggs from cracking during cooking, place them in cold water and cook over low heat. Boil the eggs for 9 minutes after boiling, then cover with cold water and cool. The shell will be better cleaned from a sharp temperature change. Peel the cooled boiled egg and grate it on a fine grater.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Also grate the cooled cheese on a fine grater.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the grated eggs and cheese in a bowl. Peel the garlic cloves and pass through a press into the egg-cheese mixture. Adjust the amount of garlic to your taste; you can add less.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add mayonnaise and mix the ingredients well until smooth. Taste it, you can add salt and pepper to taste. I didn’t do this; I felt the saltiness of the cheese and mayonnaise was enough.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Wash and dry the tomatoes. Cut them in half lengthwise.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Using a spoon and knife, carefully scrape out the inside of the tomato along with the seeds. It can be used in preparing other dishes, for example, in stir frying for soup. I advise you to freeze this pulp.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Stuff the tomato halves with the resulting mixture of cheese, eggs and garlic. Spoon the filling into a small mound.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place the stuffed tomatoes in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. When serving, decorate each half with herbs. Bon appetit!

I prepared this appetizer for the holiday table. My tomatoes are small and for the given amount of filling I used more tomatoes. I scooped out the seeds with a thin-edged teaspoon, very convenient. For the filling, I bought processed cheese the day before, but in the morning they were gone) So I took a piece of regular hard cheese, I don’t think there’s a big difference. To make the taste similar to the original, I added a little soft cream cheese to the mayonnaise. I took one clove of garlic, which is enough for my taste. The filling turned out soft, slightly spicy, creamy. Stuffing tomatoes is a pleasure) The process is quick and simple, but the result is excellent! I got mini snacks for one bite, very convenient. The guests liked the appetizer, it was very tasty and spicy. A wonderful option, especially when you don’t know what to cook anymore) Thank you!

Greetings! furor! An interesting recipe, of course, but there’s a lot of fuss - getting the insides out without damaging the walls... In my opinion, it’s much easier and tastier to spread the filling on sliced tomato slices

Om-Nom-nom! If you have everything you need, it’s such a minute task))) I made it with homemade lightly salted cheese and processed cheese - and in both cases it was very tasty. I recommend it.

I really love this appetizer, I cook it often, but I don’t stuff the tomatoes, I just cut large tomatoes into slices and spread the cheese mixture on them. I'll have to try stuffing them, it turns out very beautiful, thanks for the idea

A very tasty snack. I recently experimented and added cottage cheese to this filling. The taste was completely different and more satisfying. I liked it better without cottage cheese))
