STEP 1

We start preparing the cookies by lightly whisking the eggs with sugar.
STEP 2

STEP 3

Pour boiling water over the poppy seeds, close and let swell for 30 minutes. After this time, if not all the water has been absorbed, then the remaining water must be removed and sugar added to the poppy seed.
STEP 4

Remove the dough from the refrigerator. Roll it out on the table, lightly sprinkled with flour into a layer 0.7-0.8 mm thick and cut out the cookies.
STEP 5

Place the cookies on a sheet lined with baking paper. In the center of each cookie we make a small depression and place a little poppy seed in it and place the seeds on top of the poppy seed.
STEP 6

Brush the edges of the cookies with beaten egg. Place the cookies in the oven for 20-25 minutes at a temperature of 190-200 degrees.
