Squid fried in soy sauce with garlic in a frying pan
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to fry squid in soy sauce? Prepare the following ingredients. Squids are usually sold frozen, so they must first be thawed - in water or at a temperature not exceeding 18 degrees. The total weight of my squids is 650 grams. Medium-sized onions, large garlic cloves, so I took 3. Vegetable oil for frying. Prepare a deep frying pan. If you are intolerant to honey, you should avoid it.
STEP 2
Pour boiling water over the defrosted squid and immediately place it in cold water, this will make it easier to peel off the outer film.
STEP 3
Peel the onions and cut into feathers or half rings. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and add chopped onion. Fry the onion over medium heat until golden brown. Stir the onion, do not let it burn.
STEP 4
Peel the squid from the film, remove the insides and rinse with cold water. Pat the squid dry with a paper towel and cut into strips.
STEP 5
Add the chopped squid to the fried onion and fry the squid and onion for about a minute, stirring constantly over medium heat.
STEP 6
Add honey, finely diced garlic cloves, soy sauce, a little salt (remember that soy sauce is also salty) and ground black pepper to taste. Stir the contents of the pan and fry everything together for 1-2 minutes. Don't forget to stir.
STEP 7
Serve the finished squids hot. You can serve them with rice, potatoes, and pasta as a side dish. You can also snack on them simply with fresh bread.
