Sinabon buns with cinnamon

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to bake Sinabon cinnamon rolls at home? First, prepare the ingredients for making the dough. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it has time to soften. The eggs should also be at room temperature.
STEP 2

Heat the milk to a temperature of about 37-38 degrees. It should feel pleasantly warm to the touch, but not hot, otherwise the yeast in it will die. Add a tablespoon of sugar and yeast to the milk. Mix everything, cover with a towel and leave for 20 minutes. During this time, the yeast should be activated and rise with a cap. If this does not happen, then you need to use other yeast; the dough will not rise.
STEP 3

While the yeast is waking up, beat the softened butter with the remaining sugar using a mixer.
STEP 4

Add eggs and beat everything until smooth. Before using, wash the eggs with baking soda in warm water, as there may be harmful bacteria on the surface.
STEP 5

Pour the egg mixture into the yeast and mix gently with a spatula.
STEP 6

Sift the flour and salt through a sieve into the resulting mixture. Do not add flour all at once, add about 2/3 of the total volume.
STEP 7

Knead the dough. Add remaining flour as needed. Don't overdo it; the dough should remain soft. Too much flour makes baked goods tough. You may need a little less or a little more flour, depending on its consistency. The dough will quickly become smooth and homogeneous. Gather it into a ball, cover with a towel and leave for 1-1.5 hours in a warm place to rise.
STEP 8

How to make the filling for Sinabon buns with cinnamon and sugar? Very simple! Take soft butter. Choose a natural, high-quality product without vegetable fats. I used cane sugar, it gives the baked goods a caramel taste, but you can also use regular white sugar.
STEP 9

Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. The future filling is ready.
STEP 10

During the rise, the dough will approximately double in size.
STEP 11

Dust your work surface with flour and place the dough on it. Using your hands, spread it into a square. It is very pliable, you don't need a rolling pin. Then fold the square with an envelope: first one edge to the center, then cover it with the second edge.
STEP 12

Fold the other two edges in the same way.
STEP 13

Turn the resulting workpiece over, seam side down, and cover with a bowl. Leave the dough to rest for 15 minutes.
STEP 14

Then roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1cm thick.
STEP 15

Brush the dough evenly with soft butter.
STEP 16

Sprinkle the dough with an even layer of cinnamon sugar.
STEP 17

Roll the dough into a tight log. Mark the lines on the roll along which you will cut it. The most convenient way to cut the roll is with dental floss. She won't crumple the dough. I got 12 pieces.
STEP 18

Place the pieces on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Be sure to leave gaps between them. Cover the baking sheet with a towel and leave for an hour.
STEP 19

In an hour, the Sinabon buns made from yeast dough will grow in size. Place them in an oven preheated to 190°C. Bake the buns for about 25 minutes. The times are approximate, be guided by the operating characteristics of your oven.
STEP 20

How to make cream for Sinabon buns? Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it is at room temperature.
STEP 21

Mix soft butter, cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. It is convenient to do this with a whisk. The cream is ready.
STEP 22

Remove the finished buns from the oven.
STEP 23

Lubricate them with cream when they have cooled to a warm state. Our delicious Sinabon buns with cream are ready. Enjoy your tea!
