Shortbread piglets
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Products needed for baking cookies.
STEP 2
Mix dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, vanillin.
STEP 3
Divide the egg into yolk and white. Add the yolk and butter to the flour mixture.
STEP 4
Grind everything into crumbs. Then pour in cold water and form the dough into a ball.
STEP 5
Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
STEP 6
Roll out the chilled dough into a layer; it is more convenient to do this between two sheets of oiled parchment.
STEP 7
Using a round cookie cutter, cut out cookie dough pieces and form snouts and ears from the scraps of dough.
STEP 8
Grease the round pieces with egg white, attach ears and snouts, make eyes out of raisins, and pierce the nostrils in the snouts with a toothpick.
STEP 9
Transfer the cookies to a baking sheet lined with oiled parchment or a baking mat. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 15 minutes, until lightly browned.
STEP 10
Take the finished cookies out of the oven, cool and serve for tea.
