If you have frozen meat, you should remove it from the freezer in advance and leave it at room temperature until completely thawed.     Remove the skin from the turkey thigh. Rinse the meat under running water and dry with paper towels. Cut the turkey into medium-sized portions. Place in a deep bowl. The bone can later be used to make broth.

    Peel the onion, rinse and cut into rings or half rings. Send to the meat. Salt and pepper everything to taste. Add your favorite spices. I used ground paprika. A ready-made barbecue mixture is perfect.

    Squeeze the juice of fresh lemon. Use 1 large lemon or 2 medium sized ones.

I’ve been eyeing a turkey thigh fillet shashlik recipe for a long time and finally got around to it. I bought boneless fillet, a little over a kilogram. I had everything I needed for the marinade. The meat was marinated for about 3 hours. The shish kebab was cooked on the grill for about 15 minutes. The kebab turned out to be very tasty and aromatic with a pleasant lemon sourness.
