Shells stuffed with minced meat in a frying pan
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make shells stuffed with minced meat in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Pasta stuffed with minced meat will be stewed in tomato sauce. If desired, the sauce can be made creamy, mushroom or anything else to taste. For pasta, you should choose large shells because they are easier to fill with filling. You can use tomato paste or make tomato sauce from fresh tomatoes.
STEP 2
It is better to use minced meat from a mixture of beef and pork, then the dish will be tastier and the filling will be tender and juicy. You can prepare minced meat yourself from fresh meat by grinding it using a manual or electric meat grinder.
STEP 3
Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.
STEP 4
Pour a little vegetable oil into a heated frying pan. When the oil is hot, add the minced meat and onions to the frying pan. Fry everything over medium heat until the minced meat turns white, stirring constantly so that the minced meat does not form large lumps.
STEP 5
Wash the tomatoes, cut out where the stem attaches and cut them into several pieces. Using a blender, puree the tomatoes. Add grated carrots and tomato puree to the minced meat, add salt and pepper to taste and stir. Simmer the minced meat with vegetables over medium heat for about 15 minutes.
STEP 6
Meanwhile, add pasta water to a saucepan. Typically, pasta is cooked at the rate of 1 liter of water per 100 grams of pasta. Bring water to a boil, add a little salt. Add the pasta and stir immediately to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Cook the shells over medium heat until half cooked. The pasta should be a little firm to make it easier to stuff. The exact cooking time is written on the package. Drain the pasta in a colander.
STEP 7
Fill the shells with minced meat and fried vegetables. Place them on a greased frying pan. If there is any filling left, you can also add it to the frying pan. Pour the remaining tomato sauce and cream over the stuffed pasta and season with salt and pepper to taste. Place the frying pan with pasta and minced meat on the fire. When the sauce comes to a boil, reduce the heat to medium. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the pasta for about 15 minutes.
STEP 8
The dish is ready, sprinkle the stuffed pasta with fresh herbs. There should be sauce left at the bottom of the pan, which is served as a sauce for pasta. Bon appetit!
