STEP 1

How to make sandwiches with sprats and cucumber on a loaf? Very simple and fast. To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. Instead of a regular loaf, you can use a wheat baguette or rye bread. If you wish, you can add finely chopped herbs and pressed garlic to the processed cheese. It is better to buy sliced bread. This way you will save yourself time. In addition, equally cut even slices look more beautiful on the table.
STEP 2

Remove the sprats from the jar and shake off the oil. If you want to make the dish even cheaper, you can use store-bought sprat pate instead of whole sprats.
STEP 3

Wash the cucumber, dry it and cut into thin slices. The peel, if it is not rough, damaged or bitter, does not need to be cut off. I didn't cut off the skin.
STEP 4

Spread slices of white bread with melted cheese. If desired, you can pre-dry the bread in a toaster or in a dry frying pan. But in this case, the bread will definitely need to be cooled to room temperature, otherwise the cheese will float on the warm bread.
STEP 5

Place two slices of cucumber on each slice of loaf. You can replace fresh cucumber with salted or pickled one. You can replace or supplement the cucumber with other vegetables, such as tomatoes, leeks or regular onions, iceberg lettuce, etc.
STEP 6

Place two smoked fish on each cucumber. The number of servings and slices of bread depends on how many sprats are in your jar. The sprats in my jar were large, so they were only enough for 4 sandwiches.
