We prepare the necessary products and spices for preparing delicious samsa from puff pastry in Uzbek style.

To prepare the dough, break one chicken egg into a large bowl, then pour one teaspoon of salt into it, pour in three hundred milliliters of warm boiled water and mix well.

Sift five hundred and fifty grams of wheat flour into a bowl.

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl clockwise and knead the dough.

Knead the dough well in a bowl with your hands until the desired consistency.

Gather the dough into a ball and place it in a bowl, then cover the top with a towel and leave to proof in a warm place for twenty to thirty minutes.

Finely chop three hundred grams of onions and place them in a deep bowl, then add salt, cumin, coriander and a mixture of peppers to taste.

Mash the onion well in a bowl with a masher until juice appears.
STEP 9

Place five hundred grams of chopped lamb meat in a bowl with onions and spices.
STEP 10

Mix all the ingredients well together in a bowl, then let the prepared filling brew for about twenty minutes.

Pour a small amount of flour onto the table and lay out the dough, which we then knead and cut into two parts, after which we roll each part of the dough into thin flat cakes.

Brush the prepared tortillas with melted butter.
STEP 13

Roll the cakes into tight rolls and press their edges.
STEP 14

Cut the rolls into the required size pieces.
STEP 15

We lightly compress each cut piece of roll and place it on a cutting board, after which we put it in the freezer for thirty minutes.

After time, roll out each piece of roll to a thin flat cake.
STEP 17

Place a full tablespoon of prepared meat filling on each flatbread.
STEP 18

We adhere the edges of each flatbread well to the filling.

We form the samsa and place it, seam side down, on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Brush the top of the samsa with beaten egg yolk.

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the samsa to your liking and place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to one hundred and eighty degrees.

Bake the samsa in the oven for thirty minutes until golden brown, then remove the baking sheet from the oven and place the cooked samsa on a plate.
