Salad with sesame, cucumber and soy sauce

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make a salad with sesame seeds, cucumber and soy sauce. Prepare the necessary ingredients for the salad. Choose dense, hard cucumbers. If there are soft spots on the cucumbers, it is better not to buy them. You shouldn’t use limp vegetables in the salad either. You can take regular white, black, or make a mixture of sesame seeds. If you wish, you can supplement the salad with green onions, onions and/or garlic.
STEP 2

Wash the cucumbers and cut into thin slices. Of course, it is more convenient and faster to cut cucumbers using a special grater. However, if there is no grater, you can use a regular knife. If the cucumbers have too hard skin, then it is better to peel it. The same applies to seeds: in large overripe cucumbers, the seeds can be hard, so it’s better to get rid of them too.
STEP 3

Prepare the necessary ingredients for the dressing. You can replace balsamic vinegar with apple or wine vinegar (red or white - it doesn’t matter). If you prefer a more oriental taste of the dish, use rice vinegar.
STEP 4

Separately, mix soy sauce, vegetable oil, balsamic vinegar and sugar. Mix everything and leave the dressing for 5 minutes so that all the sugar dissolves. You can replace the soy sauce with teriyaki. There is no need to add sugar to it - it is already sweetish.
STEP 5

Pour the dressing into the cucumbers and stir until all the cucumbers are covered with the sauce. Place the salad in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to soak. During this time, mix the cucumbers with the sauce again.
STEP 6

Before serving, sprinkle the salad with sesame seeds. Bon appetit!
