STEP 1

How to make a salad with raisins, cheese and walnuts? Prepare the ingredients. Boil the beets in their skins, so that the beets cook faster, just add a teaspoon of soda to the saucepan with water where the beets will be cooked. It will take 20 minutes from the moment the water boils for the beets to cook. When vegetables are ready, use the tip of a knife or fork to pierce the root vegetable.
STEP 2

In order for the beets to retain more vitamins, instead of cooking, you can bake them in the oven, first wrapping each root vegetable separately in foil. Cool the beets and grate them on a medium grater. To speed up the process and if you are preparing a large quantity of salad, you can use a food processor with a grater attachment.
STEP 3

Wash the raisins thoroughly, pour boiling water over them and leave for 10 minutes until they swell well. It is better to buy not beautiful, large and glossy raisins, but ordinary ones, they are more natural, without chemical treatment.
STEP 4

Walnuts, if purchased in shells, peel, wash and dry in a microwave oven or in a dry frying pan. Then grind them using a blender, hand masher or rolling pin into crumbs. Peel the garlic clove and pass through a press or grate on a fine grater.
STEP 5

You can use any hard cheese according to your taste and availability, the main thing is that it is natural and easy to grate on the track. Grate the cheese on a medium grater.
STEP 6

Combine all ingredients in a salad bowl. Add salt to taste. Season with mayonnaise.
STEP 7

Stir. Let the salad cool slightly and soak in the refrigerator and serve. Decorate the salad with fresh herbs, sesame seeds and cranberries if desired. The salad is ready. Bon appetit!
