STEP 1

How to make a salad with celery and apple? Prepare your food. For celery you only need the stalks. Take a green apple, sweet and sour variety. Granny Smith, Semerenko, and Golden varieties are well suited. I also added a mix of lettuce leaves, depending on your taste. Use natural yogurt for salad dressing, without any additives. It can be replaced with sour cream.
STEP 2

Cut the celery stalks from the base. Rinse them well and then dry them. Using a sharp knife, cut off the top tough layer of fibers from the outside of the stems. If the stems are young and thin, this is not necessary.
STEP 3

Cut the celery stalks crosswise into small pieces.
STEP 4

Wash the apple well, cut into quarters and remove the core and seeds. Cut the quarters into small slices. If the skin of the apple is very hard, cut it off. You can also cut the apple into strips or cubes.
STEP 5

Wash and peel the carrots well. Cut it into strips. Or cubes, whichever you prefer. Or grate, plain or for Korean carrots.
STEP 6

Place chopped celery, apple and carrots in a salad bowl. Be sure to pour lemon juice on top of everything - it will prevent the apple from darkening and give the salad a pleasant sourness and aroma. Stir the salad. You can top it with yogurt and serve.
STEP 7

I served the salad on a bed of mixed lettuce leaves. And I put the yogurt dressing on the table separately. Bon appetit!
