    First of all, prepare the onions. To remove the bitterness from it, marinate it. To do this, peel and cut the onion into small cubes. Then pour table vinegar over them and leave to stand for 10 minutes. This time will be enough for the taste of the onion to become softer. After the required time, place the onion in a sieve and rinse under running water.

    Peel the eggs and grate them on a coarse grater. I cooked at the rate of 5 eggs, setting aside one yolk to decorate the top of the salad.

    It is better to form this salad in layers, since mixed, it will turn into a homogeneous mass, and it will not be clear what it is made of. You can use a culinary ring, or you can lay it out in layers in a regular salad bowl. I did it in the ring. Place the grated eggs in the first layer, press them down with a spoon and brush with mayonnaise. Place pickled onions on top.

Salad with apples, cheese and eggs consists of simple and affordable products, but it turns out very tasty. I also layered the salad for beauty. To dilute the colors I used red onion. Although it is less bitter than usual, I still marinated it in vinegar according to the recipe. The apple turned out to be sweet, which goes well with the acidified onion. Replaced hard cheese with processed cheese. The layers were smeared with a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream for greater tenderness. In the salad, all the products harmonize well with each other. Soft layers go well with crispy and juicy ones. It turned out to be a delicious salad. Thanks for the recipe!
