Step-by-step preparation

Cooking timeCooking time: 15 mins
  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Prepare the ingredients needed to prepare the “Sunny” salad. Pre-boil chicken fillet, potatoes, eggs, carrots until tender and cool. My eggs are small, so I took three. Small onion. One can of canned corn (310 g). Choose chips with whole, strong chips of any flavor. Prepare a dish (flat plate) for the salad.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Chicken fillet, pre-boiled and cooled, finely chop and place on the bottom of the plate. Here I would advise you to be sure to salt the meat during cooking, otherwise it may seem that the salad does not have enough salt.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel the onions and finely chop with a knife. Mix with mayonnaise and carefully place on top of the chopped chicken fillet. If desired, the onion can be doused with boiling water, but here it is mixed with mayonnaise and its bitterness is not felt.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Peel the boiled carrots and grate them on a coarse grater; you can simply cut them into small cubes. Place the grated carrots on top of the layer of onion and mayonnaise.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Peel the boiled potatoes and grate them on a coarse grater (you can also just chop them finely, but for me, grated vegetables make the salad more tender). Place the grated potatoes on top of the carrot layer.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Peel the boiled eggs and grate them on a coarse grater, mix with mayonnaise. Place the eggs on top of the potato layer, but at the same time give the salad the shape of a hemisphere, that is, lay the eggs not only on top, but also on the sides.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Remove the canned corn from the jar, drain off excess liquid and carefully place on top of the eggs. The corn fits well on the egg-mayonnaise layer and does not crumble. You need to lay it out so that the white layer does not show through, but everything is yellow, like the sun.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Carefully place the selected whole chips along the edges of the plate, like rays. You don’t need to push them too far into the salad, you just need them to hold on, otherwise the salad may make them soggy.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Let the finished salad stand for a while in the refrigerator so that the layers are soaked, and you can serve.

This is where the simplicity of the decoration comes in, and how drop-dead beautiful it turned out, cool! the composition is also not bad, in theory it should be delicious, I’ll remember it before the holidays, I’ll definitely try it
