STEP 1

How to make a salad of onions, peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes for the winter? Prepare all ingredients. Wash the vegetables thoroughly and dry them with napkins or paper towels. I don’t peel cucumbers because I immediately select ones with a delicate structure. I used cream tomatoes, but you can use any other ones - we still cut them into pieces. STEP 2

Remove seeds and stalks from sweet peppers. Cut it and onions into half rings. Choose the thickness of the rings yourself.
STEP 3

Cut the tomatoes into large pieces - into quarters or slightly smaller depending on the size of the fruit. Cut the cucumbers into slices.
STEP 4

Sterilize glass jars and lids. Place a bay leaf and a small pinch of dill seeds at the bottom of each jar. You can add an umbrella of dill. Be sure to wash the jars and lids very well before sterilizing! You can choose the sterilization method for yourself by reading the article at the end of the recipe.
STEP 5

Place a layer of chopped onions on top of the spices in the jars.
STEP 6

Place half rings of sweet peppers, press them with a clean spoon poured with boiling water.
STEP 7

Place the cucumbers in the next layer.
STEP 8

And place the chopped tomatoes on top.
STEP 9

Add salt, sugar, vinegar, sunflower oil to each jar. The calculation in the ingredients is given for two half-liter jars, so simply divide the indicated amount in half.
STEP 10

Fill the contents of the jars with boiling water up to the hangers and place them in a container with hot water to sterilize, immersing them up to the hangers. Or microwave for 4 minutes at maximum power.
STEP 11

Screw on the jars with sterile lids and turn them over. Place under a warm blanket until completely cool.
