Place onion, cut into small cubes, on top of the herring. Grease with mayonnaise.

Then a layer of carrots, grated on a coarse grater.

Cut the white of one egg so that you get two circles - these will be the “eyes” of the pig.
STEP 9

Grate the remaining eggs on a coarse grater and place on the carrots.
STEP 10

Make a mayonnaise mesh.
STEP 11

Prepare decorative elements from beets - cut out a circle-patch, “ears” and “tail”.
STEP 12

Grate the remaining beets on a coarse grater and place on layers of salad, covering them on top and sides.
STEP 13

Lubricate the beet coat with mayonnaise and smooth it with a spoon to form a neat hemisphere - the “body” of the pig. Place the salad in the refrigerator to soak and infuse.
STEP 14

Before serving, decorate the salad with elements made from egg whites and beets - we attach the “piglet”, “ears”, “tail” and “eyes” to the body. Make “pupils” from cloves. Draw “nostrils” with mayonnaise.
