STEP 1
How to make a salad of fresh cabbage with cucumbers and tomatoes? Prepare everything you need for this. Rinse cucumbers and tomatoes in running water to remove dirt. Then dry them. You can use any cabbage - fresh or stored in the fall. Fresh is softer and juicier. Remove the top 2-3 weathered leaves from a head of fresh cabbage.
STEP 2
Chop the young cabbage thinly and crush it a little with your hands. Why knead with your hands? This is necessary so that the cabbage becomes softer and the salad is juicier. Place the shredded cabbage in a salad bowl.
STEP 3
Cut off the stems of fresh cucumbers. Cut the cucumber lengthwise into 2 parts. Then cut the cucumber into half rings. Add chopped cucumbers to the salad bowl with the cabbage.
STEP 4
Choose tomatoes for salad that are firm and fleshy. They have tasty, sweet pulp, but little juice. There is no need for excess moisture in the salad. Cut the tomatoes in half and remove the stem. Cut each tomato half into large slices.
STEP 5
Add chopped tomatoes to the salad bowl.
STEP 6
Finely chop the fresh herbs and add them to the salad bowl. Sprinkle the salad with salt and spices to taste. You can use ground pepper as spices. Season with olive oil and mix everything carefully so as not to mash the tomatoes.
STEP 7
Transfer the finished salad to a salad bowl and serve.
