    How to make pancakes from rye flour? Very fast and easy! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. The milk should be at room temperature, so remove it from the refrigerator in advance. You can use any vegetable oil, I used refined sunflower oil.

    Sift rye flour into a bowl. Add sugar, soda, salt and citric acid. Mix everything thoroughly with a whisk. If you have citric acid in liquid form, you need to add it later (step 5). In this recipe, you can replace soda and citric acid with 1 tsp. baking powder.

    Pour half of the room temperature milk into the flour mixture and stir with a whisk, breaking up any lumps. Then pour in the remaining milk.

    Break the egg into the dough, pour in the vegetable oil and mix well again.

    You will get a thick, homogeneous dough. Leave the dough for 5-7 minutes. During this time, it will thicken a little more. If after this the dough is too liquid, you can add a little more flour. If it is too thick and not flowable, you can dilute it a little more with milk.

I saw a recipe for pancakes made from rye flour and wanted to make them. I just decided to replace the rye flour with corn flour. I kneaded the dough according to the recipe, but did not sift the flour. It turned out a bit runny, so I added more flour. But according to the recipe description, the dough should be liquid, so I added just a little. I poured the dough into the pan with a tablespoon. The pancakes turned out thin, but tasty, everyone wondered what they were made of, and when they found out that they were made of corn flour, they were surprised. I served jam and liquid honey with the pancakes, very tasty!

Very tasty pancakes made from rye flour and prepared simply and easily. My family traditionally ate them with sour cream, and I with honey. I think you can add banana to these instead of sugar.
