Rowan jam with apples

We take frozen red rowan, separate it from the brush, removing bad, unripe and small berries.

Blanch the apples cut into slices in advance in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, and then rinse lightly with cold water.

We prepare syrup based on rowan berry decoction. To do this, add the required amount of sugar to the cooking container and bring the syrup to a boil.
STEP 7

We put red rowan berries and pre-prepared apples in it. Leave the rowan syrup for 10 hours in the cooking container, covering it with a towel.
STEP 8

Leave the rowan syrup for 10 hours in the cooking container, covering it with a towel. Then bring the jam to a boil again and leave for another 8 hours. After this, the jam is boiled for 8-10 minutes every 8 hours 3 times. Before the second time, add about 0.5 kg of granulated sugar. The recipe is painstaking, but the jam turns out very tasty and healthy.
