    Rinse the rice several times in cold water. Then fill it with clean water and leave it to stand in the water.

    Peel the onions and carrots and rinse them in running water to remove any dirt. Finely chop the onion. Carrots can be grated or cut into cubes.

    Cut the meat into pieces. Heat the frying pan until hot and pour vegetable oil onto it. Place the prepared meat and fry it until golden brown.

    Add carrots and onions to the pan. Fry everything together for 3-5 minutes.

My whole family really liked the rice porridge with meat. It's almost like pilaf, only in a frying pan. For the dish, I took a piece of pork with fat; such meat, in my opinion, becomes softer after cooking. I like regular long-grain rice; it doesn’t get too overcooked and looks appetizing. For rice porridge, it is quite possible to grate the carrots rather than cut them into large cubes. The dish turns out even more tender. I quickly fried the meat until golden brown, and then for another 10 minutes with vegetables over low heat. At the same time, the rice was also kept in water. This way, some of the starch will be washed out and the rice will swell slightly. Then I cooked it like pilaf. After cooking, I mixed everything. We like this porridge, it’s tender, tasty, filling! The rice was well soaked in meat and vegetable juices. This dish goes very well with a salad of fresh vegetables. Thanks for the recipe!
