Quick pie with jam
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to bake a quick and easy jam pie in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees in advance and prepare a baking dish, because the dough will cook for no more than 5 minutes.
STEP 2
First, prepare the liquid ingredients. Any jam will do. In my opinion, if there are pieces of fruit in it, it will be even more interesting. It is important that the jam is thick, otherwise you may end up with porridge and not a pie. I took some cherry and raspberry jam. If you don't have sour cream, just add a little more milk. Instead of milk, you can use kefir, whey, or even just water if you want to bake a Lenten pie.
STEP 3
Mix sour cream, milk, jam and vegetable oil thoroughly in a deep bowl until smooth.
STEP 4
Now add dry ingredients. Be sure to sift the flour, this way you will enrich it with oxygen, and the baked goods will turn out more airy. Depending on the quality of flour, you may need a little more or a little less. You can read more about flour and its properties in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.
STEP 5
With the last portion of flour, add soda and vanilla sugar (or vanillin). Read about all the nuances of working with soda, as well as how to replace vanilla sugar with vanillin, in separate articles following the links after the recipe.
STEP 6
Mix everything well and quickly. The mixture will begin to bubble strongly due to the reaction between the baking soda and the jam, so you need to send the dough to the oven as quickly as possible to bake while the reaction takes place.
STEP 7
Transfer the dough into a baking dish. For information on how to choose a baking dish, read the article at the link at the end of the recipe. If necessary, grease the pan with vegetable oil or place parchment on the bottom. Place the mold in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes. The exact time depends on the operating characteristics of the oven. You can find out more about this in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.
STEP 8
The cake bakes quite quickly and turns out very fluffy and aromatic. You can check readiness with a wooden stick or a regular toothpick - insert it into the center of the pie and immediately remove it. If it is dry, then the cake is ready.
STEP 9
Decorate the pie according to your taste and discretion - with berries, fruits or just powdered sugar. You can also cut it into 2 layers and coat it with sour cream. You will now have a real cake.
STEP 10
Enjoy your tea!
