STEP 1
How to make quick khachapuri with cheese in a frying pan? Measure out the required ingredients. Soft cheese (Suluguni or Adyghe) is good. If you don’t have suluguni, you can take feta cheese, feta cheese or semi-hard cheese. The main thing is that it is tasty, of high quality, without milk fat substitutes and melts well.
STEP 2
Mix flour with baking powder and sift through a sieve. The flour will be saturated with oxygen, and the khachapuri will be more tender and fluffy.

Grate the cheese on a coarse or fine grater. You can take one type of cheese or in combination.
STEP 4
In a bowl, whisk the egg. If the cheese is salty enough, you don't need to add salt. If the cheese tastes blander, add a pinch.
STEP 5
Pour in milk, stir. It is advisable that the milk is not too cold.
STEP 6
Add flour sifted with baking powder. Mix thoroughly until lumps disappear.
STEP 7
The dough turns out homogeneous, the consistency of not too thick sour cream. If the dough is thick, add a little milk.
STEP 8
Place grated cheese into the dough.

Mix everything well so that the cheese is evenly distributed throughout the entire dough.
STEP 10
Heat the butter in a frying pan. Place a portion of the dough in an even layer no more than 1 cm thick. Fry the khachapuri over moderate heat.
STEP 11
During cooking, cover the pan with a lid so that the khachapuri is thoroughly baked.
STEP 12
When the dough thickens enough on top and browns on the bottom, turn the flatbread over to the other side and fry until done, also covering the pan with a lid.
STEP 13
Serve khachapuri warm. They turn out tender, with a pronounced cheese taste. Bon appetit!
