Quick and easy sour cream cookies

Quick and easy cookies from childhood. Just don't put it down! In my family, these quick-cooked cookies are cutely called crumpets :) These cookies are prepared literally in a matter of minutes, and the taste cannot be described in words. This is the same taste of carefree childhood and cozy country tea parties on warm summer evenings.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake delicious simple cookies in a hurry? Add sour cream to a deep bowl. Add all the sugar there. The fattier and thicker the sour cream, the tastier the cookies will be. But in this case, you will have to adjust the amount of flour to a lesser extent - that’s for sure. I have sour cream 10% fat.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Beat the sour cream and sugar with a mixer for just a minute until light bubbles form.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add baking soda. Divide the entire volume of premium wheat flour into approximately two parts and sift the first half into the dough.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Knead the dough and check the consistency. If it is liquid and very sticky, like mine, then add more flour.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Knead the dough again and evaluate its structure again. It should just stop being strong! stick to your hands. As soon as this happens, the dough is ready.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

It took me exactly 2.5 standard faceted cups of flour.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Roll out the dough into a circle five millimeters high. And squeeze out the cookies using special molds or a regular glass. I have rare cookie cutters, still made in the Soviet Union :) It’s better to roll out the dough on a special silicone baking mat so that the cookies can be removed more easily after squeezing out. Or you can grease your work surface with a small amount of sunflower oil.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Place the pieces on a low-sided baking sheet lined with non-stick parchment paper. Bake the cookies in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for ten to twelve minutes. Baking time may vary, depending on your oven.

My daughter really wanted to make cookies herself and definitely wanted to be able to cut them out. There were no eggs or butter at home, but on our wonderful website I found a suitable recipe for cookies with sour cream, a quick and easy one. There are minimal ingredients, but the baked goods turn out amazing. I kneaded a soft dough, it needed more flour, I looked at the consistency. Then my daughter rolled it out, cut it out and laid it out) It turned out to be 1.5 large baking sheets. We baked for exactly 15 minutes. The cookies turned out completely without blush, but they were completely baked. It is very soft and airy. It really looks like crumpets or biscuit. The taste is neutral, there is a taste of sour cream. It seems to me that you can add any fillings to the dough: poppy seeds, nuts, cocoa, raisins, chocolate, etc. It turns out delicious, inexpensive, quick and a lot.

I made these cookies and was amazed at how easy and quick they are to prepare! A minimum of products and effort, and the result exceeded all expectations! And I just found some sour cream lying around in the refrigerator and didn’t know what to do with it! It’s good that I found this recipe and I don’t regret it at all, I’m sooooo pleased! Tilda Montmartre, thank you very much for the simple, affordable and delicious recipe for tea!!! P.S.: I sprinkled sugar on top, but you can also use coconut flakes and anything else to suit your taste and desire. My photo report -->>

Girls, you made such delicious and beautiful cookies!!! I made it yesterday too, it’s simple and really, really delicious. The only thing was that it turned out a little hard, I probably overexposed it. Some of the cookies were sprinkled with sugar, resulting in a delicious crispy crust. Here is my photo report

My oven is not very good, so the top is very brown, but not too dry. Very good recipe, I also added cinnamon and ginger to the dough.
