Puff pastry with apples
Step-by-step preparation

Let's prepare products for kneading puff pastry and apple filling according to the list.

Mix dry yeast with flour.
STEP 3

In a container, combine the ingredients for the dough: part of the flour mixed with dry yeast, milk diluted with water 1:1, egg, vinegar, vodka, salt, mix.
STEP 4

Add pieces of butter to the mass, knead, add the remaining flour. You need to stir so that the butter does not have time to melt completely.
STEP 5

Place the dough in a bag and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
STEP 6

After half an hour, take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out on the countertop.
STEP 7

Fold the edges of the dough towards the middle.
STEP 8

Then fold the dough into an envelope and put it in the refrigerator again for 40 minutes. We repeat this 4 times. This is necessary to form a large number of layers of dough.
STEP 9

For the filling, peel and core the apples, then cut them into small cubes.
STEP 10

Roll out the dough envelope one last time.
STEP 11

Roll the dough into a roll.

Cut the dough roll into equal pieces, making 16 pieces.

Roll out each piece of dough without turning it over to create more layers.

Roll out the dough thinly, approximately 3 mm.

You can also form puff pastries in the form of pillows or envelopes. To do this, you need to connect the 4 ends of the rolled out dough in the center above the filling and mold the connecting edges.

Place the puff pastry dough with apples on a baking sheet, pierce each puff pastry in several places so that they do not burst during baking.
STEP 21

Place the baking sheet with puff pastries in the oven, preheated to 220 degrees, and bake for 20 minutes.
STEP 22

Transfer the hot baked apple puffs from the baking sheet to a flat dish, let cool and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
