  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pp pancakes with rice flour? Prepare your food. Based on the principles of proper nutrition, we will reduce the calorie content of pancakes as much as possible. To do this, take low-fat kefir, exclude sugar and oil for frying. Do not replace baking soda with baking powder if you are following a gluten-free diet - baking powder contains wheat flour.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Remove the kefir from the refrigerator in advance or heat it until warm. Pour soda into kefir and stir. A chemical reaction will begin between the alkali and acid, which will release carbon dioxide - it is responsible for the splendor of baked goods. In warm kefir, the reaction will begin faster, which is why we heat it. Leave the kefir to react for 5 minutes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Break an egg into kefir, add salt. Stir.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add rice flour to the dough in parts, stirring after each batch. The dough will become thick and homogeneous. You can start baking right away; there is no point in waiting for the gluten to develop, as happens with dough made from wheat flour. Rice flour does not contain it.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Heat a frying pan over medium heat. To bake these pancakes, take a non-stick frying pan, since we will be frying without adding oil. Drop the dough into the pan with a tablespoon, forming small pancakes.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown. Serve the finished pancakes hot. If desired, you can pour them with honey or any syrup that replaces sugar - maple, agave or Jerusalem artichoke.

I’ve long wanted to try baking pancakes with rice flour, but I didn’t dare, and in vain. The pancakes turned out great! Thanks to the author for the clear and accurate PP recipe. I used the specified amount of flour and everything turned out perfect. Quite fluffy, airy, slightly crispy pancakes, poured honey on them and didn’t forget about the strawberries, since it’s the season)))

Finally, I found where I can add rice flour and not just a tablespoon as an additive when baking bread, for example, but, as they say, in full. Some pancakes turned out crispy, others had a lot of flour, mine came out soft, I didn’t adjust the amount of ingredients, I just added a little sugar to the dough. Thank you for the recipe katushafin! I was very pleased with the result.

There is a lot of flour, the pancakes feel like a lump in my throat and are dry. Next time I’ll put 2 times less flour

We made very tasty PP pancakes made with kefir and rice flour. For a long time I was looking for a good recipe specifically for pp - without wheat flour and sugar. There is no dryness, no taste of soda, since the pancakes are made with kefir. I like that you can adjust the number of servings in the recipe to suit your needs. We enjoyed having pancakes for breakfast with the children. To add sweetness it was eaten with honey.

One day my husband asked me to cook mitarashi dango. The recipe is unusual, interesting, looks beautiful on the dish, but it turned out that the dessert is for a very rare fan (in any case, it seems too strange for a Russian person). In general, everything went to waste. And since it is made from rice flour and I still have a lot of it left and I still need to do something with it, I began to study the question of what else could be made from it. I chose several recipes, but decided to settle on pancakes made from rice flour (I trust the author, since not a single one of her recipes that I have chosen has yet failed me). Honestly, I thought that they would also go to waste, despite the fact that there were good reviews (I really didn’t like Dango). I can say that I liked the recipe for PP pancakes on kefir with rice flour right away. First, they are very easy to prepare. Second, working with dough is a pleasure. And third, they tasted quite good, I ate a portion of pancakes with pleasure. I can’t say that I’m delighted, but for a PP recipe it’s very worthy! I recommend this recipe to everyone, especially those who follow proper nutrition; I think the pancakes will hit the top.
