  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry potatoes and sausage in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

First, start working with potato tubers. Peel the potatoes and wash them. Then cut the potatoes into large strips using a knife or do it using a slicer (large strip attachment). Then wash the already chopped potatoes again and drain them in a colander. Leave it like this for a short period of time so that all the water drains out.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Now take the onion bulbs and peel them. Cut the onion into half rings.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Now get to work on the sausage. Note: choose good quality sausage, then the dish will turn out really tasty. You can also take it with fat or regular. In general, take the one you like best. So, cut the boiled sausage into large strips.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour some vegetable oil into a frying pan with a thick bottom (add if necessary during frying), heat it well, then add the previously prepared potatoes. Fry the potatoes over high heat for 5 minutes on one side, then turn the potatoes over and fry for another 5 minutes. During this time, an appetizing crust should appear.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Now add the chopped sausage, mix it with the potatoes and continue to fry the ingredients over high heat for another 10 minutes, stirring them occasionally.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

When the sausage is already well fried, add onion half rings and salt, mix everything again, reduce the heat, cover the pan with a lid. Simmer the contents of the pan for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Please note that cooking time may vary, as it largely depends on the type of potato and the power of the stove. Therefore, before turning off the stove, test a block of potatoes for doneness and salt, and only then remove the dish from the heat.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Potatoes with sausage and onions can be decorated with chopped green onions. This will make the dish even brighter and tastier. This dish can also be served with sauce, fresh vegetable salad, or simply fresh or pickled vegetables, salted or pickled mushrooms. Bon appetit!

I was tempted by the photo of delicious potatoes! I really wanted to make such a dish, but there was no boiled sausage. I replaced the boiled milk with raw smoked sausage, which did not spoil the taste at all. Potatoes with sausage in a frying pan - a quick dish, it took me about 30 minutes. I cut the potatoes and sausage into strips, and the onion into half rings. I fried the potatoes as described in the recipe, and the crust turned out excellent. Added onion and sausage and simmered until done. The only spices I added were salt and freshly ground pepper. The aroma throughout the entire apartment was stunning! As recommended by the author, I sprinkled the dish with chopped green onions. This is impressive! You can't imagine how perfectly fresh green onions complemented fried potatoes and sausage. The potatoes turned out to be mega tasty, the sausage fits perfectly into the dish. It's nourishing, beautiful, fast and very tasty! My husband asked for more) Thanks to the author!

Potatoes with sausage in a frying pan are a very simple, but very satisfying and tasty dish! I cut the potatoes and sausage into strips, and cut the onion into half rings. First I fried the potatoes until golden brown, then added sausage, salt, a little pepper and onion. Stir and fry until done. At the end I sprinkled with finely chopped green onions. We really enjoyed this dinner: delicious! I recommend trying it!
