STEP 1

How to bake potatoes with minced meat and cheese in layers in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Minced meat can be taken from any type of meat. It can be pork, veal, chicken or a mixture. I will cook with minced pork. Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse them to remove dirt. Choose the cheese to your taste, the main thing is that it is easy to grate and melts well.
STEP 2

For baking, you can use any heat-resistant form. I have a ceramic one. Grease the bottom and sides of the mold with vegetable oil. Cut half the potatoes into slices and place in an even layer along the bottom of the pan.
STEP 3

Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and chop.
STEP 4

Place the chopped onion over the potatoes. Salt a little and add spices.
STEP 5

Next add a layer of minced meat. Add some salt.
STEP 6

Cover the minced meat with the remaining potatoes, also cut into slices. Grease generously with sour cream. It can be of any fat content. Top with a little more salt and spices. Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for about 45-50 minutes. About 30 minutes after the start of baking, you can cover the top with foil to prevent the potatoes from drying out.

Separately, grate the cheese.

When the top potatoes are soft, sprinkle generously with cheese and leave in the oven for another 4-5 minutes.
STEP 9

During this time, the cheese will only have time to melt and will stretch well. Remove the pan from the oven and serve hot.
