Potato boats in the oven stuffed with minced meat

The minced meat for this recipe is homemade pork and beef, but any one will do - the one you like best

Finely chop the onion
STEP 4

Chop the garlic with the flat side of the knife and cut

Add chopped onion and garlic to the minced meat, salt and pepper
STEP 6

Add dried basil or any other spices to taste

Add bell pepper - it will give our dish some piquancy. It's spring now and I have homemade frozen peppers

Mix and leave so that the minced meat is slightly saturated with onion, garlic, pepper and spices

For this recipe, choose large potatoes. We cut it in half and cut out the middle with a knife, you don’t need much - leave about 1 cm on the walls. I have young potatoes with thin skins, so I cook them directly with them - in my opinion, it’s even tastier, but of course you need to wash them thoroughly first. It is better to peel older potatoes

Lubricate the tops of the boats with sour cream and send them to float freely in the oven for 1 hour. The top can be covered with additional foil (I didn’t cover it)

Remove the potato boats from the oven and sprinkle with grated cheese. Return to the oven for another 10 minutes
