Potato boats in the oven stuffed with minced meat

Potatoes with meat are always delicious, and especially in this version... These potatoes sold out like hot cakes, and I naively thought that there would still be left! The kids especially liked it, but you can’t fool them)

For this recipe, choose large potatoes. We cut it in half and cut out the middle with a knife, you don’t need much - leave about 1 cm on the walls. I have young potatoes with thin skins, so I cook them directly with them - in my opinion, it’s even tastier, but of course you need to wash them thoroughly first. It is better to peel older potatoes

It’s delicious to bake potatoes simply with cheese and no meat needed.

To prepare the dish, I selected 5 large potatoes in advance. I washed them, cleaned them, and boiled them for 5 minutes in salted water. Then I cooled it and cut each one in half. Using a knife and then a teaspoon, I took out the pulp from the middle, forming boats about 1 cm thick. I filled the boats with minced pork with the addition of onions, salt, seasoning for meat, and sour cream (for juiciness). Topped each one with a little sour cream. I didn’t add any cheese. I baked the potato boats in the oven filled with minced meat for one hour, covered with foil. Then I turned off the oven and let them stand in it without foil for 5 minutes. Decorated with mayonnaise and poured a thin stream over each boat. It turned out original and tasty! The potatoes and minced meat are very tender, soft, and well baked. The meat is juicy. Ate with pickled cucumbers and tomatoes. Great recipe! Thank you so much!

You can speed up the cooking by half if you boil the potatoes until they seem ready, but not quite yet, drain the water, and then follow the recipe, then it will take 20-25 minutes in the oven at 220 for the beef to bake.
