Pork stew with cabbage and potatoes

STEP 1

We prepare the products. We clean and wash the vegetables. Cut the meat into medium-sized pieces.

Chop the onion as desired as you like. I like it big. But some people don’t like onions in dishes, so you can cut them smaller

Three carrots on a coarse grater or cut into cubes. For those who don't like carrots, you can grate them on a fine grater.
STEP 4

We send the meat to fry directly into the pan over medium heat. Fry for 5-7 minutes until a crust appears.
STEP 5

Add onions and carrots.
STEP 6

Fry for another 5 minutes. Don't forget to stir.
STEP 7

While the meat and vegetables are fried, cut the potatoes into cubes, not very large, so that they are easy to eat.
STEP 8

Add potatoes and half a glass of water. Simmer until half cooked.
STEP 9

Preparing the cabbage. Shred thinly.
STEP 10

Fry in vegetable oil until the cabbage changes color.
STEP 11

Add tomatoes and tomato paste, simmer for 10 minutes.
STEP 12

Add cabbage to potatoes and meat. Reduce heat and simmer under closed lid for 15-20 minutes until cooked.
STEP 13

5 minutes before readiness, add spices to taste and herbs. I have allspice, red hot pepper, country pot seasoning, salt, dill and green onions. But you can add spices to your taste.
