  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake pork with prunes in the oven? Prepare the products according to the list. Choose fresh pork, an oblong-shaped piece. Pork neck or tenderloin works best. I took the tenderloin. For the marinade, mix mustard, sour cream, pressed garlic and salt in a suitable container.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Soak the prunes in warm water for 5 minutes, then drain the water, rinse under running water and let dry. If the prunes have an oily coating on them, you should pour boiling water over them to remove the coating, then rinse and dry.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Prepare the meat. Wash and dry it with paper towels, then make deep transverse cuts in the tenderloin, literally 1-2 centimeters short of the end. It turns out like this accordion from pieces about 1 cm thick.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Lubricate the prepared meat generously with marinade, thoroughly coating each piece.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

We insert prunes into the slits - several pieces at a time. I lost all 100 grams. Wrap the meat in cling film and leave it in the refrigerator to marinate for 2 hours - in general, the longer the better, even overnight. After marinating, you can start baking. Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Prepare a baking dish and two pieces of foil, which should be of such length that you can easily wrap the meat in them. I have a rectangular glass mold. We line the first sheet of foil across the mold, and the second along it. Lubricate the top with vegetable oil. We lay out the meat, wrap it tightly first with one sheet, and then with the second, trying to make sure that there are no gaps, otherwise the juice will leak out and smoke will appear in the oven.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place the meat in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. The first baking stage takes approximately 45 minutes. All this time the meat is in foil.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

After 45 minutes, remove the pan from the oven, uncover the meat and send it back for about 15 minutes. During this time, it will be covered with an appetizing crust and will be ready. Please note that the cooking time and temperature are approximate; be guided by your oven and the readiness of the meat. Before serving, do not forget to pour the juice that will be released during cooking over the meat. Bon appetit!
