Pork in teriyaki sauce in a frying pan
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make delicious pork in teriyaki sauce in a frying pan? Very simple. To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. What meat can you take besides pork? Any. Beef, lamb, chicken or turkey will do. But keep in mind that the calorie content and cooking time of the dish will change.
STEP 2
Wash the pork, dry it and cut into medium pieces. Pork needs no bones, just pulp. Choose a part of the carcass according to your taste. This could be a ham, shoulder, carbonate, neck, tenderloin, etc. I have a spatula from which I previously trimmed off excess fat.
STEP 3
Place the meat in a bowl and cover with teriyaki sauce.
STEP 4
Add starch, spices and mix well. Teriyaki sauce, depending on the manufacturer, can be completely liquid and runny, like water, or slightly thickened. If you have a thicker sauce, you do not need to add starch. Leave the meat to marinate for 30 minutes.
STEP 5
Now prepare the vegetables for the side dish. You can omit the side dish at all or replace it with something else according to your taste. You can replace zucchini with regular zucchini with pale green skin.
STEP 6
Peel the onion and cut into semicircles.
STEP 7
Peel the bell peppers from seeds and stems and cut into slices or strips. It is better to take peppers of different colors, then the side dish will turn out not only tasty, but also beautiful.
STEP 8
Wash the zucchini and cut into medium pieces. My zucchini is small in diameter, so I cut it into quarters.
STEP 9
Place the pork along with the sauce in a well-heated frying pan and, stirring, fry over high heat until cooked, about 10-15 minutes. The exact frying time depends on your pan and the size of the meat pieces.
STEP 10
In another frying pan over medium heat (I have a setting of 7 out of 9), heat the vegetable oil, add the zucchini, bell pepper and onion. Fry, stirring, until the vegetables are ready, about 5-7 minutes.
STEP 11
At the very end, salt, pepper and mix the vegetables. The side dish is ready. It is better to fry vegetables and side dishes simultaneously in two pans. Then you will have everything ready at about the same time.
STEP 12
Place fried vegetables and pork on a plate. If desired, sprinkle the dish with sesame seeds and chopped parsley. Bon appetit!
