Pork dumplings stuffed with boiled meat

This is a version of dumplings not in the classic version - with minced meat, but from a whole piece of meat, finely chopped in a blender or by hand. Additional ingredients allow you to “glue” chopped meat fibers with fried onions and seasonings, wrap them in portions in skants, and when serving, you will be surprised by the filling not of minced meat, but of pieces of aromatic whole meat.

“finely chop the meat or grind it in a blender” Is this “whole meat”? =)My aunt makes dumplings with chopped pieces of pork and beef. When the meat is sliced, it fits more into the “whole” meat category, IMHO.

This name only emphasizes that the dumplings are not filled with minced meat. In general, of course, you are right: the meat is finely chopped, but I have so many recipes with that name that I decided to paraphrase “chopped” into “whole”, with additions in which it will become clear that the filling is from a whole piece of meat, but chopped .I should have also pointed out that in a blender, grind not into dust, but rather coarsely, if such a function is provided, of course.

A blender will chop boiled meat not into minced meat, but into pate. In addition, such culinary products with boiled meat are not called dumplings, but dumplings, and they should be cooked for no more than 3-4 minutes.

In the recipe you need to replace boiled meat with raw meat, there is no need to cook, the time for preparing the dish will be reduced. At least the dish is delicious anyway.

And I really liked the recipe, to be honest, I’ve never tried adding milk to fried onions before, I’ll definitely try to cook dumplings this way. Another plus is that these dumplings cook faster than usual - great!
