STEP 1
How to make pilaf with champignons in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. For pilaf, the best option would be long-grain steamed rice. It turns out crumbly and does not boil down. In proportion to water, rice is always taken 1:2. Choose light champignons, without dark spots and without damage. STEP 2
Rinse the champignons in running water to remove dirt and dry. Then cut the mushrooms into slices. There is no need to chop very finely, as they will shrink in size during cooking.
STEP 3
Peel the onions and carrots and rinse. Then grate the carrots on a coarse grater and finely chop the onion.
STEP 4

Then add onions and carrots to the pan. Stir. Fry everything together for another 3-5 minutes. The vegetables will develop a characteristic aroma. Add salt and spices to taste. For spices, you can take a ready-made set of spices for pilaf.
STEP 6
Place the washed rice in the pan and fill it with hot water. Add a few cloves of garlic. Bring to a boil and cover with a lid. Cook pilaf with champignons over low heat for 20-25 minutes, depending on the type of rice you choose. The rice will increase in size, absorb all the water and become soft.
STEP 7
Mix the prepared lean pilaf with mushrooms and carrots and serve hot. Bon appetit!
