STEP 1
How to fry pike perch in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Clean the fish carcass, gut it, remove the head, tail and fins. Rinse well in running water. Don't throw away the tail, head and fins - you can cook fish soup from them.
STEP 2
Cleaned fish can be cut into steaks or cut lengthwise into two parts and remove the backbone. It is more convenient for me to cook the fillet so that it is boneless. Pat the fish dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Then cut the fish into portions.
STEP 3
Sprinkle the fish with salt and spices. Rub the spices into the fish. As a spice, I use a ready-made fish spice set.
STEP 4
Place breadcrumbs in a separate bowl. Coat each piece of fish generously in breadcrumbs.
STEP 5
For frying, use a wide-bottomed frying pan. Place it on the fire and heat until hot. Pour in vegetable oil to cover the bottom. Then add the breaded fish. Do not place the fish pieces too tightly together. Let there be some space between them.
STEP 6
Fry the fish over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side. There is no need to turn the heat up high so that the breading does not start to burn. As soon as the fish turns golden on one side, immediately turn it over to the other side.
STEP 7
Remove the finished fish to a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.
STEP 8
Fried pike perch is ready! The fragrant golden fish will look very elegant on the holiday table. Pike perch is very tasty when eaten hot. Complete the fish with fresh vegetables or any side dish. Baked potatoes are perfect. Bon appetit!
