Pies in a frying pan without kefir
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to fry pies in a frying pan without kefir? Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
STEP 2
Dissolve sugar in a glass of warm water, add a tablespoon of wheat flour and a teaspoon of dry yeast. If desired, dry yeast can be replaced with raw yeast. Stir the mixture and place the glass in a warm place for 15 minutes to activate the yeast. A cap of yeast foam should form on the surface. If this does not happen, then you need to use other yeast, the pies will not work with this one.
STEP 3
Pour sifted wheat flour into a bowl, add salt, mix. Pour the yeast mixture and vegetable oil into the bowl with flour.
STEP 4
Start mixing the mass with a spoon; when the dough comes together, place it on a floured work surface and continue kneading with your hands into an elastic, smooth dough. You may need a little less or more flour, depending on the desired consistency of the dough.
STEP 5
If necessary, if the dough is sticky and remains on your palms, add a little more flour, but do not beat the dough too much. Place the formed bun back into the bowl, cover with a towel and place in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours.
STEP 6
How to make filling for pies in a frying pan without milk and kefir? With the onset of summer days and the appearance of fresh greenery on the site, pies with green onions and eggs have become especially popular. This is indeed a very tasty and juicy filling, an excellent basis for baking. Wash the chicken eggs and boil them hard in salted water. Fill them with cold water, cool, peel and finely chop with a knife.
STEP 7
Rinse the green onions under running water, dry with paper towels and chop finely. Place the chicken eggs and onions in a bowl, add salt and a couple of tablespoons of sour cream. Stir. The filling for the pies is ready.
STEP 8
Knead the dough and immediately proceed to forming the pies. Divide the dough into 8 pieces.
STEP 9
On a floured work surface, roll out each piece into a not very thin cake.
STEP 10
Place a tablespoon of filling in the center. Pinch the edges to form a pie. Do this with all the pieces of dough.
STEP 11
Pour vegetable oil into a heated frying pan; there is no need to spare it, as it should cover the pies by at least a third. Heat the oil. Place the pies on it and fry over medium heat for 2 minutes on one side until golden brown. Turn over and fry on the other side until golden brown. Cover the pan with a lid and keep the pies on the fire for another 5 minutes to bake the filling.
STEP 12
Remove the pies from the pan and place on paper towels to absorb any remaining oil. Serve fried lazy pies with hot aromatic tea or milk. Bon appetit!
