Pie without filling

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make a pie without filling? Prepare your food. To help the cake rise better and be fluffier, remove them from the refrigerator in advance to warm them up. Take milk of any fat content, oil - refined, odorless.
STEP 2

Wash and dry the eggs. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush. Separate the whites from the yolks into separate bowls. Set aside the whites for now.
STEP 3

Pour milk into the yolks and stir with a whisk until smooth. Then add the oil and stir again.
STEP 4

Sift the flour. It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Then the baked goods will turn out airy and rise well during baking. Add baking powder, salt and half the sugar to it. Don't be afraid of salt in sweet baked goods - it acts as a flavor enhancer. Mix dry ingredients with a spoon.
STEP 5

Start beating the reserved egg whites with a mixer at low speed. When they turn slightly white, increase the speed. Without ceasing to beat, pour the remaining sugar into the whites. Beat the whites until soft peaks form - the mass should become smooth, white and shiny.
STEP 6

Fold the whipped whites into the yolk mixture using a whisk, using gentle movements from bottom to top.
STEP 7

Then add flour in portions, stirring the dough after each addition. You should get a homogeneous dough with a consistency like thick sour cream. Flour from different manufacturers has different properties, so you may need less or more of it than indicated.
STEP 8

Take a baking dish and grease it with a drop of vegetable oil. I have a round shape d18cm. Pour the prepared dough into it.
STEP 9

Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180°C for 25-30 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden stick - it should come out dry from the middle of the pie. Remove the finished pie from the oven, cool and release from the mold. The times are approximate, be guided by the operating characteristics of your oven.
STEP 10

Serve the pie to the table. You can sprinkle it with powdered sugar. Bon appetit!
