Beat a chicken egg into a bowl and add sugar and a pinch of salt. Wash the egg with baking soda, as it may contain harmful bacteria.

You may need less or more flour, since it has different properties from different manufacturers.

    Once the dough has rested and cooled, divide it into two parts. One part should be slightly larger than the second. Roll out each piece of dough into a thin layer, no more than 0.5 centimeters thick.

I wanted a sweet, tasty pie and I made a pie with apple jam. I replaced the apple jam with quince jam. I kneaded the dough, it took a little more flour. I placed the first part of the pie into the mold, with jam on top. I rolled out the top part of the pie and made round holes on it with a soda cap and placed it on top of the pie. I placed the remaining round pieces of dough around the perimeter of the pie. The result was a tasty and interesting pie that perfectly complemented a family tea party!
