    Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water with a brush. Peel off the skin.

    Take a fork and poke holes in each tuber on several sides.

    Take garlic. Peel the garlic cloves, chop them through a press or finely chop them with a knife. You can reduce or increase the amount of garlic a little if you wish, but I don’t recommend removing it completely.

    Pour vegetable oil into a bowl, add chopped garlic, mayonnaise, ground black pepper, oregano and salt. Mix everything well. If you wish, you can replace or add your favorite spices.     Spread the sauce evenly over the potatoes and leave to marinate for 2 hours.

    After a while, transfer the potatoes into a baking dish and place in an oven preheated to 200C, bake until the potatoes are ready. My potatoes were young and cooked for 25 minutes, the time will depend on the variety and size of the tubers. I prepared pickled potatoes spontaneously. I just wanted something new for dinner and not to bother. The potato tubers were large, so I cut them into several parts. This way they marinated faster; I kept them in the marinade for one hour. I did not dilute the marinade separately; I immediately added all the ingredients to the chopped and washed potatoes. From the spices I took paprika and chicken seasoning. Before this, I dried the potatoes with a towel so that the marinade would be better absorbed and “stick.” Bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees. Within 10 minutes, the tantalizing aroma of garlic floated throughout the house) The potatoes turned out incredibly tasty, golden, slightly spicy. We enjoyed our dinner. Thanks for the recipe!
