  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Let's prepare the ingredients for the preparation. In addition to fresh broccoli, we will use garlic and dill for the marinade. The dill must be taken fresh and young, so this preparation must be done during the harvest season. Divide the broccoli into inflorescences, rinse thoroughly with running water, place in a colander and let the water drain.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

We thoroughly wash the dill greens under running water, place the dill in a colander or paper towel, let the water drain and divide the dill into small sprigs.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel the garlic cloves and cut them into thin slices.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

You need to prepare the jars for the preparation in advance. We wash the jars with soda in cold running water and sterilize them using one of the usual and proven methods: in a water bath over steam, in a microwave or in an oven. Sterilizing jars in the oven is easier and faster. Place the wet jars with their necks down on a wire rack and turn on the oven at 150 degrees for 15 minutes if the jars are up to 1 liter in volume. Wash the lids and boil.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Let's prepare the marinade. Pour water into the pan. Add sugar and salt. Bring the marinade to a boil, add bay leaf, peppercorns, and cloves. Cook the marinade for about 5 minutes. At the end of cooking, pour vinegar into the pan. When the marinade boils, immediately turn off the heat.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place sprigs of dill and cloves of garlic at the bottom of sterilized jars. Place broccoli on top. Pour the boiling marinade over the broccoli, up to the shoulders of the jars.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Cover the jars with lids. Place the jars with the preparation in a saucepan and put a cloth on the bottom. Fill with water so that the water covers the jars up to the shoulders, not higher, otherwise during boiling it will begin to pour inside the jars. Sterilize jars of broccoli for about 15 minutes if the jars are up to 1 liter in volume. We roll up the jars with lids. Turn it upside down, wrap it in a warm blanket and let it cool at room temperature.

Then we put it away for storage in a cool place. Bon appetit!
